Artist's Comments

The famous Hundertwasser House in Lublova (Eastern Steppe).

This wonderful and bizar construction was made by an Italian company and based on the original plans of Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser, the controversial Austrian architect and painter.

Unfortunately, none of the Italian architects spoke any German, so they tried to improvise. The exterior was quite succesful, but they had some problems.

None of the rooms have running water, and only some have doors. Also, the lack of any stairs makes access to the top floors problematic. Luckily there is an elevator (manually operated by donkeys) and some ropes.

RUN, rabbit, run
dig that hole, forget the sun
and when at last the work is done
don't sit down, time to dig another one

steps taken forward
and sleepwalking back again...
encumbered forever by desire and ambition

Rent is (as is very common in Molvania) to be paid in kind. Depending on the natural beauty of the tenant, this can be either very frequent or extremely rare. However, the repulsion level of the person renting out the place, should also be taken into consideration.

A common guideline is :

Beauty of tenant (on a scale from 1 to 10) devided by repulsive factor of owner (from 1 to 10) will give you the avarage times the deed has to be done per week.

One practical example : let's say Scarlett Johansson wants to rent a flat and Steve Buscemi owns the place, than you would get the following cost :

9 (Scarlett) divided by 10 (Steve) = 0,90 times a week
